LoveLight, Inc. connects children, families, and seniors through learning, wellness, and community, regardless of income.
Since its incorporation in November 1995, LoveLight, Inc. has worked to help people, especially those facing economic or other disadvantages, move toward their full potential and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.
At the heart of LoveLight's vision is STARCHILD (Service, Teaching, Advocacy, and Research), a model multigenerational childcare, child development, and lifelong learning center. STARCHILD brings together children, parents, senior citizens, college students, staff, and community members in a nurturing environment built around good health, effective learning, and a strong foundation for the future.
Support is needed most in four key areas:
STARCHILD start-up costs. Roughly 80–85% of a child's brain growth happens after birth, and most of it by age five—making those early years critical to lifelong well-being. STARCHILD is designed with this in mind, offering benefits not just to enrolled children but to the seniors and college students who take part alongside them.
Mary M. Maske Holistic Learning Services. Offered on a sliding scale, these services provide one-on-one support for youth and adults who can't otherwise afford help with academic struggles, addressing root causes to improve their overall ability to thrive.
Wellness Community programming. A network of practitioners offers yoga, art classes, sound baths, stress reduction, and more—making health and wellness accessible no matter someone's income.
Enrichment opportunities for youth. Field trips, entrepreneurship programs, and other experiences open doors for lower-income youth, exposing them to possibilities they might not otherwise encounter.
